For patients

What to expect on the day of your procedure.

Preparation reminders, and a note that your facility’s instructions are the ones to follow.

A calm recovery bed with white linens, a folded blanket, and a monitor beside a sunlit window.

Clinical questions belong with your facility.

Ask the surgery center or office where your procedure is scheduled. Spectrum Anesthesia’s office cannot give advice about another facility’s orders, and this page is not medical advice. If this is an emergency, call 911.

General preparation

These are ordinary reminders. They do not replace the written instructions from your facility.

  • Follow the fasting and medication instructions from your facility or surgeon. If a general tip and those instructions disagree, follow the facility.
  • Bring an up-to-date list of medicines, allergies, and your primary physician’s name.
  • Arrange the ride home your facility requires. Many people cannot drive themselves after anesthesia.
  • Wear comfortable clothing and leave valuables at home.
  • Tell the care team, at the facility, about recent illness, pregnancy, or any previous problem with anesthesia.

Billing questions

Quotes, pre-payment, and statement balances for Spectrum Anesthesia services are handled by Arietis Health, not by the clinical office.
